I'M 21
So on the 26th October 2013 I turned 21. Scary biscuits.
I had the most amazing weekend ever thanks to all my lil chummys especially Lorna and Tash who flew over from Ireland on the 24th and stayed to the 28th! Unbelievable, they honestly made the weekend for me. The three stooges, bears, musketeers, amigos, little pigs what ever you want to call us but we are defiantly three sisters. (excuse the soppyness)
Me and my sisters <3
Within our five day weekend we ate out quite a lot, taybarns, burritos, subway, frankie & bennys and we also drank a lot, cocktails, beer, wine, shots and even frosty jacks, ah nostalgia. So all that plus shopping, movies, clubs, housepartys and a whole lot of laughing made up my 21st birthday week which I am so grateful for.
On the first night we hit the toon, prinks at mine, Jalou for cocktails then dancing at Digital.
Me and Tash with the ultimate pouts :*
Tash, me and Maff with our yummy cocktails
Me and Kerry (the cool kids)
and this is me and Maff at 4am in a pizza shop, classy.
On the Saturday, my actual birthday, I had a house party filled to the brim with all my good friends. One of my besties Joe bought me the best gift ever, a guest book. I am mad about memories so this was perfect!
I love reading over it and I'm sure I'll love it even more in years to come
There's so much I could write on this post but I don't want to make it too long for Future Frank but I had the most awesome week ever and I'm so thankful to all my friends who made it happen.
Here's to the next 21 years, sláinte.

Style Crush | Melonlady
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everybody as Melonlady would say aka Helen Anderson who I've been following ever since I made my blog and I've been subscribed to her YouTube channel for aaaages which you can do too here: http://www.youtube.com/user/snakebitesparkles/videos
I seriously love everything she wears and she recommends the best online clothing stores like ROMWE and PRVDNCE. I'd say her style is quite 80's/90's style inspired with her own melon twist.
I think this denim jacket is better than cake
I would like one of everything please.
As you's can see her style is amazing and you should defiantly check her channel and blog out, she is the loveliest girl and you'll have loads of laughs and style ideas! Enjoy Melon World !!

Top Ten | Films
I thought I'd try out tag posts and start with Top Tens so when I read back it will be nice to know what I was into and if anything has stayed a favourite!
I'll start with my favourite movie ever ever ever...
The Nightmare Before Christmas
I could watch this movie on repeat for the rest of my life. I love Tim Burton's work and this, in my opinion, is one of his best!
The rest are in no particular order but I will highly recommend ALL of them! Top film taste me.
The Breakfast Club
A Brain, an Athlete, a Basket Case, a Princess, and a Criminal. Classic 80's coming of age film that can't be beat.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
A more recent coming of age film set in the 90's that covers so many teenage issues in such a beautiful way.
Dead Man's Shoes
Ultimate Brit Grit film, such a good story. I went through all the emotions watching this.
A Beautiful Mind
One of Russell Crowe's finest performances and defiantly should have won the Oscar for Best Actor.
Into The Wild
This movie will change your life. Cried from start to finish in the best way possible. Stunning true life story.
The Truman Show
I'm a big fan of Jim Carrey and this has to be my favourite film of him, dunno why, it's just a great film.
The Wind that Shakes the Barley
One of the many great Irish films about it's history and culture. I would also recommend In The Name Of The Father.
Four Brothers
I always feel like this film is a hidden gem and I'm forever telling people to watch it.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
This classic is defiantly better watched live, the audience gets really involved, it's such a fun experience.
So there's my top ten films, roughly, there's so many more but I tried to get the best.
If you watch, I hope you enjoy!

FILTH
Last night I went to see the film Filth with a group of friends and it instantly became a favourite.
I loved it so much I didn't want it to end, the only sad thing is I didn't get to read the book before I seen the movie because I know Irvine Welsh is an amazing writer.
James McAvoy starred brilliantly and I weirdly still fancied him in it.
The film made me laugh, it made me cry and it made me feel a little disturbed.
It's such a great refreshingly original film and if you are over 18 I would defiantly recommend seeing it especially if you are a fan of Irvine Welsh or even the film Trainspotting.
Instant cult classic.

LONDON 2012
Last August I was fortunate enough to be offered free accommodation in central London for a week while the 2012 Olympics were on, so who was I to pass that up?
It was one of the best trips I've taken.
I flew over from Ireland to Newcastle and took the 6 hour megabus down to Victoria Station.
There was such a great buzz about the city because of the Olympics and I'm so grateful I got to be apart of it all. London is one of my favourite city's, there is so much to see and do.
Lisa, Joe, Sally and me outside Buckingham Palace
Camden Town
Camden Market
I will definitely be back again, sooner rather than later I hope, with a fresh new post also!
I love going to new places but London is one of those city's that I will never get board of.
If you ever get the chance to go, take it!

What I'm Listening To #2
I have recently bought London Grammar's album called If You Wait because I'm seeing them live at the end of this month and the last song in the deluxe album defiantly deserves a spot in this series. It's called When We Were Young, unfortunately I can't find a copy of it anywhere on the internet so I've linked their song Interlude which has been uploaded by this mellow YouTube channel 'IndieCurrent'.
This song is so beautiful I just love her voice and can't wait to hear it live!
__________
I'm also seeing Hudson Taylor soon as they are supporting the Kodaline gig and I first heard of them on YouTube as Harry and Alfie, two brothers from Dublin who I've seen busking in the Temple Bar. It's so nice to see them do well.
This is their song Battles, his voice is so unusually and they play so well together.
__________
American Slang is one of my favourite albums ever by The Gaslight Anthem and if you haven't heard it you should defiantly check it out.
The Queen of Lower Chelsea is one of my favourite songs off the album. Their song Stay Lucky is also were I get my post outro saying from, I think it's well cute and with that...

September WrapUp 2013
At the start of the month I took a roadtrip to Dublin with the best ones which you can read about here 30 hours in Dublin .
Also I got a new camera which you can sort of see in the first picture above and I haven't been using it as much as I want too so I'm going to try very hard this month to make more of an effort to document everything as all I have for this post is night's out which is too recurring and boring sorry! I think I've been out 10 times this month which is very unlike me!
It can be justified however because one of my bestest Irish chummys has started 1st year at my uni and I am basically reliving my fresher days.
matthew and me all same
Walk in Heaton Park.
So 3rd year has started and it's my last year in Newcastle,
I hope it's filled with great posts and memories!
