New Glasses!

This is like Christmas for me, I love love love getting new glasses! I have six pairs now but I'm in love with my newest. The top pair are quite similar to the ones I wear daily only they are circle instead of square. All the square ones I seen were quite safe and I wanted something a bit different which I think the bottom pair are. They look much more different on and I think it's because there a bit more raised at the top so you will be able to see my eye make-up a lot more which everyone will be thrilled by I'm sure, you're welcome pals. There from Specsavers £69 range and I'm just living for them. Can't wait to wear them out and about!  

Healthy Meals | Mushroom, Onion & Goat's Cheese Frittata

I'm typing this while the food cooks in the oven, two birds is always good. Healthy Meals, this may turn into a series if all goes well but first thing on the menu, frittatas. This is my first attempt but they sounded simple enough to make. 

Started by chopping up the mushrooms and onions quite finely.

Next, pan fry them until soft.

Add into baking tray, we used cupcake trays for individual servings, also add the goat's cheese on top.

Then the whisked eggs were added to fill each pod and put into the oven for 15/20 minutes. 

To check there done, poke a tooth pick in the centre and if it comes out dry, all the yolk has cooked through.

And that's them done, I had two for dinner with a bit of salad on the side, scrumdiddlyumptious!

DIY: Home-made Make-up Storage | Make-up Brushes

In trying to keep up with Blogtober (not doing a good job so far) I thought I'd share how I store some of my make-up brushes. These are my EcoTools mini brushes which I use daily and before they were stored with all my other brushes so I had to hunt to find them, soooo I thought it would be better to keep them on display somehow at easy reach.

I seen these decorative sand tubes in B&M and the colours go perfect with my room so I filled a little green glass jar with them to store my mini brushes and I couldn't be more happy with it. It was super cheap to make and it just looks far better sitting on my desk than before.   

I love reading posts like these so hopefully I'll have more soon!

Autumn Things

This is the first time in three years that I have been in my home town for the whole of Autumn. Usually I would be leaving at the start and coming back in Winter. I think that's the reason why this year feels really nostalgic. I was walking into town yesterday past the trees where me, my dad and brother would collect conkers from, that, the crunching leaves and the smell of the air just brought be back. There's something about walking home in the early dark as well, reminds me of the nights around Halloween while out with friends, so many memories through October.

Primark Boots Autumn 2014

First of all, I need a kick up the bum, I can't believe I missed a post of Blogtober already, I'm so annoyed lol. To make up, I will post twice today, determined to have 30 this month, although it doesn't look likely at the minute. 

That said, I wanted to write about these up to the minute boots from pennies. I adore these! I've seen so many that are alike about but never were drawn to them like these. The top photo reminds me of school shoes, ugly is defiantly in but I love the buckles and zips! 

They were still re-stalking in the store so I'll have to have a look next week and update my wardrobe for Autumn! Exciting Autumn times :)

Hello October | First Blogtober Attempt

IT'S OCTOBER WEEEEEEEEE!!

Favourite month in my favourite season andd it's also my birthday month so you can guess that it's my favourite time of the year! I just decided today to attempt blogtober this year so it will be interesting to see how it goes. I have no posts lined up so all suggestions welcome.

I'm hoping this tag will re-spark my blogging interest because I feel like I haven't had anything to post about which leads to lack of motivation which is poop! Gotta get these creative juices flowing somehow. I've also created a new twitter that is just for my blog so I will be able to shout my views of the world twice as much, jokes. It will be used to share and connect with all my wee blogger chums, cus we cute like that. Excited to see how this turns out and good luck to anyone else who is doing blogtober!
